Voidblood Chronicles

Prelude

The vast Multiverse of Demthera was predetermined to allow transition through power. This law was brought into light by beings only known as the First Ones, who's abilities were incomprehensible.  Without using any strength, a single thought from one of these nine, gave shape to worlds and species. Out off all of the First One’s there was one who stood above the rest, The Voidblood the purest manifestation of Demthera's might.

Countless primordial worlds and races that sparked from the First Ones conflict, fought over who would remain. Waging wars that carved the cosmos violently, feeding a natural desire for conquest. The battles so intense whole verses were torn asunder. After The First Ones Haralds began to adapt it only worsened.

In the conflicts races began to evolve, climbing to the height of the First Ones, this resulting in the Rebirthing.  For the Nine feared they had made monster, so a purging of everything, a cosmic reset on their creations was the only way.  In the act many First Ones were sealed into a seemingly endless slumber, A price for their combined effort, and a safeguard so their influence couldn't affect the inside realms again.

All but three lines vanished from Demthera’s omnipotent table. These three vowed never to allow such a thing to conspire again. So they step back further from the realms, after only allow bits of their essence and youngest seed to grace the Lesser Realms with divinity, so a governing body would lead them in the right direction.

After this the three left, stepping into the great nothing to not as their brothers did, cause the end of their creations.

In realms of magic and power, there were many things that change, and many things that don't. The endless bloodshed was one thing that never changed for the better. Evolving their ways, the remanence of the First Ones, named The Reborn, formed a council to oversee the verses, and lead them as their forefathers tried.

So as the ages moved on, The Council kept their table ten strong. Each member having a tie to The Reborns line. But vowed to keep themselves directly out of the everyday workings of the multiverse. But as their fathers have done, they formed clans and took heralds to do their bidding.
